Former President Donald Trump has officially won the 2024 Presidential election, defeating Vice President Kamala Harris, which took place on November 5, 2024. The results have stunned many, particularly given the numerous celebrity endorsements Harris received over the last few months leading up to the big day.
Cast members from Marvel films, famously known as “The Avengers,” were among the many endorsements from the entertainment industry. However, following the election results, the internet has seized the opportunity to mock this particular endorsement, also drawing comparisons between Trump and Thanos.
The Avengers Said ‘Vote Blue’
Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, and Danai Gurira appeared on a conference call together prior to the elections. Their support for Harris was evident from the beginning, Downey Jr. also recommended that the Vice President needed a “catchphrase.”

In this lighthearted call, the Marvel stars showed their support for Harris, and in the tweet, Ruffalo wrote,
“We’re back. Let’s #AssembleForDemocracy. In the #ElectionEndgame, every vote counts#VoteBlue! Vote @KamalaHarris@Tim_Walz.”
Internet Mocks The Avengers on X
After Donald Trump’s historic presidential win, several people took over X (formerly known as Twitter) to take a jab at several celebrities, including The Avengers. One user wrote,
“Trump defeated the Avengers.” Along with this tweet, was an edited picture of Trump with the Thanos gauntlet.

Has anyone checked on the Avengers to make sure they’re Ok? Or did Thanos actually do his thing to them?

The Avengers lived long enough to see themselves become the villains, and then they lost to Trump.

Conclusion
Donald Trump and Kamala Harris gave one another tough competition this election, but people can’t help questioning Harris’ loss despite having almost the entire entertainment industry backing her!
