Nahnatchka Khan (Totally Killer, Always Be My Maybe) and Maurice Marable (Insecure: The End, Three Men, and a Baby) are set to direct Peacock’s upcoming series, Laid, with Stephanie Hsu serving as both executive producer and lead. This dark comedy boasts a talented ensemble cast alongside Hsu, and its release date is just around the corner.

What is the Plot of Laid?
The series revolves around Ruby, a woman who is forced to confront her past, more particularly the men she has slept with after several of them start dropping dead in unusual ways, and she, and her best friend, realize that these deaths might be connected to Ruby.

The Cast of Laid
The very talented and beloved Stephanie Hsu will be taking over the lead in Laid as she plays the role of the titular character, Ruby. Hsu is best known for her performances in titles like Everything Everywhere All at Once, Joy Ride, The Wild Robot, The Fall Guy, American Born Chinese, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
