From friendship bracelets to being on stage together, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have come a long way. 2023 and 2024 have been big years for many celebrity couples, but if there’s one that particularly stood out with plenty of limelight on them, it has to be Swift and Kelce.
An NFL tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and a singer-songwriter with 11 original studio albums do seem like an unlikely pair but as it appears, Swift and Kelce have made it work and the internet has swooned over them for months now.

When did Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce First Start Dating?
The dating rumors between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce date back to September 2023 when Swift was seen attending a few of Kelce’s games. In fact, for the longest time, NFL fans were also frustrated at how much camera footage Swift was getting during these games as the rumors continued to grow. Nevertheless, the NFL was definitely team Tayce. Is that their ship name?
There’s a little “pre-detailing” that goes into the couple’s relationship, which involves Kelce attending her concert in June 2023, following which it was revealed that he tried to talk to her and give her his phone number sometime in July.
This discussion took during Travis and his brother, Jason Kelce’s podcast. So the seeds were planted pretty early on.
Anyway, the relationship between the two was confirmed when they were seen holding hands and walking together after a party. Back then,

Amid the Eras Tour, Swift was attending Kelce’s games, whilst also spending some time with his mother, and all of this was heavily covered by the media, by then, the couple also became a little more vocal about their relationship, especially Kelce.
In an Instagram photo, Swift and Kelce were also seen embracing one another with a kiss on the cheek.
Just as Swift showed her support for Kelce at his games, he did the same by attending her concert in November 2023, and of course, the couple broke the internet once again after Swift changed the lyrics to her song, Karma, and sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” receiving the loudest applause from her fans. Their relationship was more than confirmed at this point.
Since then, the couple has often been spotted together all across the globe, whether it is at Kelce’s games or the Eras tour. They have also spent time together with each others’ family, and often sparked rumors about getting engaged but nothing has been confirmed just yet.
And yes, Swift did finally post a picture with Kelce in June 2024, but they weren’t alone. But the Eras Tour London show has been the biggest for the couple so far as Kelce also appeared on stage with her during the song, “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”
