Is Agatha Harkness Dead?
The title of the series and everything about the series centered around one dynamic character – Agatha Harkness. However, this witch, one of the strongest Marvel has ever produced, met her demise, not in the season finale, but in the penultimate episode of Agatha All Along. Her death was one of the more emotional scenes of the series, despite the recollection of everything wrong she had done so far.
For a moment, we were convinced she had managed to come back to life in the final episode, but instead, she returned as a ghost and will continue to be a guiding light for Billy who doesn’t want to stop looking for his brother, Tommy. Agatha might be dead, but in so many ways, she lives on!
Who Created the Witches’ Road?
Much like Agatha, the Witches’ Road played an exceptionally important role in Agatha All Along because that’s where it all began, and that’s where it must end. The final episode of the series sheds light on this road, and more importantly who created it, and it was none other than Billy Maximoff himself.
In a flashback, Agatha learns about the Witches’ Road, for centuries she used a gullible coven with a promise of opening doors to the road, which led her to the most recent coven, but only this time, a door actually opened. Billy had created the Witches’ Road, and it goes to show just how similar he is to his mother, Wanda, who created the infamous hex.
Conclusion
Agatha All Along Episode 9, aka the season finale of the series explains everything there is to explain, and also leaves the door open, quite literally, to a possible second season.
Or, maybe like WandaVision led to Agatha All Along, there could be a standalone Wiccan movie or series in store, unless this plot branches into the new Vision series which is currently in the works!
