As a series, Bridgerton has truly delivered some gasp-worthy moments for the viewers, and Bridgerton Season 3 is no exception. With four episodes now officially streaming on Netflix, Part 1 of this season has come to an end, and we’re all in the same boat of eyes-wide, mouths-agape, and swooning for #Polin. Penelope Feathering and Colin Bridgerton have been the heart of Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1, and all the credit goes to Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton.
Coughlan and Newton’s chemistry hit the roof in Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 4 and this is the moment fans can decide whether or not the first part of this season was worth the hype. There’s plenty unpack in each and every episode, but the last episode of this part truly stood out as one of the finest episodes of the season.
Does Penelope Choose a Husband For Herself?
Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1 has been all about Penelope Featherington finding herself a husband. In fact, that was also the root of her reconnecting with Colin Bridgerton, who helped her realize her witty personality, which was more than enough to charm Lord Debling in the third episode. However, things have shifted a little in Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 4.
The last episode that fans will witness for a while now has been packed with several subplots and a whole lot of chemistry, and once again, we circle back to Penelope and Colin towards the end of Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 4, and the build-up to that moment was worth it. The build-up also consisted of Francesca Bridgerton finally finding someone of her liking, however, it wasn’t the Queen’s choice.
Francesca and Lord Kilmartin’s story will be a unique one and has been set-up extremely well in this particular episode as we finally see Francesca be happy at the idea of a man, for the first time. In addition to this, the curiosity around Lady Danbury’s brother, Marcus, and their relationship has also been of interest, and it will be interesting to see more of it explored in the next part.
As for Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 4, the most important scenes of this episode were towards the end. Lord Debling, who was on his way to propose marriage to Penelope, changed his mind after being interrupted by Colin in the middle of a dance. This led to confrontation between Penelope and Lord Debling, which made it evident that Penelope still had feelings for Colin.
Colin on the other hand, ran after Penelope’s carriage in the middle of the street and after she lets him in, once again, sparks fly. Colin’s admission of his feelings for Penelope was some of the best writing we have seen in Bridgerton Season 3. This was followed by a steamy scene, one that fans have been waiting for, and a shocking proposal at the very end of the episode!
