Fly Me to the Moon Review

Fly Me to the Moon, directed by Greg Berlanti has now taken over theaters all across the world and while there are plenty of horror movies like MaXXXine and Longlegs in cinemas at the moment, Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson’s lunar rom-com based on the Apolo 11 mission from 1969 definitely sets itself apart and offers itself up as a dessert of sorts after some intense movies people might be sitting through.

The star-studded cast is enough to bring the movie to its conclusion. Still, there were plenty of other add-ons that deserve to be credited and appreciated, which is exactly what we will discuss in this review.

So if you need to decide whether or not Fly Me to the Moon deserves a watch on the big screen, or whether it’s something that can be watched on Apple TV later, you’re at the right place. Make sure you stick around until the end, and beware of the spoilers!

Charming, Humorous, and Entertaining!

For starters, plenty of credit must go to both Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum who led Fly Me to the Moon with charisma, humor, dashing glances that would make an audience swoon, and of course, their performances that carried plenty of potential since the release of the trailer, and ultimately landed well, much like the astronauts on the moon.

Johansson and Tatum’s chemistry is one that you might be unsure of before watching the movie, but once the end credits are rolling, you’ll hope they do more movies together, that’s just how well these two A-list Hollywood actors blended together.

Of course, one cannot miss the splendid performances of the supporting cast, who played some very important roles in Fly Me to the Moon. From Woody Harrelson to Ray Romano to Anna Garcia to Jim Rash, this rom-com was filled with talented actors and actresses who came together and lifted the quality of the movie.

While the cast left us stunned with their performances, the premise of the movie, aka USA’s mission to the moon, Apollo 11, was the binding factor of Fly Me to the Moon, and rightfully so.

Neil Armstrong’s first words when he landed on the moon are known to people all across the world, through generations, and were also witnessed in this movie which gives background into the mission whilst staying true to the rom-com genre.

There’s plenty to look forward to in Fly Me to the Moon, and that goes beyond Johanson and Tatum. There’s romance, there’s humor, there’s revelry, there’s tension, there’s adrenaline, and there’s something for everyone. So before this movie makes a landing on Apple TV, we highly recommend watching it on the big screen!
