When it comes to movies, comedy especially, roommates are often viewed as the fun ones, the ones you can confide in, go be social with, maybe even go on trips with, but Worst Roommate Ever holds up a mirror to what reality can look like. Stranger danger is real, even if they have been sharing a house with you for years.
One element of Worst Roommate Ever Season 2 that really stood out to us was the animation, which we have noticed has been used more frequently by Netflix recently, especially for docuseries.
While interviews and archival footage are a great way to tell a story, the animated bits helped reenact the missing parts which helped drive the narrative forward. It was truly a great add-on and kept us engaged.
