Let’s face it, as much as one might love Marvel movies, one of the most-anticipated parts isn’t the plot or the action sequences, but the end-credit scenes and mid-credit scenes.
Just like every other movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Deadpool & Wolverine, which has now made it to the big screen, also has an end-credit scene, and we’re here to tell you more about it.
Deadpool & Wolverine has exceeded all expectations when it comes to action, comedy, cameos, and of course, the performances delivered by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
So, it all boils down to the end-credit scene, was it for the plot? a gag? or a setup for a future movie? keep reading to find out, and beware of the spoilers!
Johnny Storm Makes a Comeback!
Deadpool & Wolverine had a handful of A-listers who made an appearance in the movie, and one of them included Chris Evans.
Evans appeared in the first half of the movie, and while he is most popularly known as Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, that’s not the role he played in this Marvel movie. Instead, he reprised his role from 2005, playing a variant of none other than Johnny Storm, the beloved Human Torch.

Evans had a longer cameo than anyone else in Deadpool & Wolverine, especially since he also returned for the end-credit scene. This scene doesn’t hint at the future of the MCU, but despite that, it was hilarious and nobody could complain about seeing more of Evans on the big screen.
Although Cassandra Nova had killed Johnny Storm in the first half, all thanks to Deadpool, who then returned to the end-credit scene to prove his innocence in the involvement of Johnny’s death.
Deadpool was back in the TVA and played a clip of Johnny using plenty of profanity to describe Cassandra. It was more of a gag gift to the Marvel fans and didn’t add much meaning.

A Wholesome Montage
In addition to the post-credit scene, Deadpool & Wolverine also had a short montage video playing alongside the credits, which was yet another treat for the fans, especially those who have been around for a long time.
This montage was a cumulation of different superheroes from the past, in their respective movies, who didn’t fall under the “MCU” banner and have now found themselves in this movie.

These characters included Wolverine, Elektra, Johnny Storm, Blade, Gambit, and Professor X amongst many others. This montage was nostalgic and the perfect tribute to all the characters.
Conclusion
If you were hoping for the end-credit scene to reveal the future of your favorite superheroes, that wasn’t the case this time around, but the MCU has several other titles lined up for the next couple of years, so make sure you keep a lookout for Deadpool and Wolverine there!
