The first two seasons of Unstable witnessed some stellar performances by the father-son duo, Rob Lowe and John Owen Lowe who played the titular characters Ellis Dragon and Jackson Dragon in Netflix’s workplace comedy.
Unstable Season 1 and Season 2 were a success amongst fans, and that leaves us with some questions about the future of the season.

Has Unstable Season 3 Been Renewed?
While there was plenty of potential for Season 3, it has been reported, that along with several other series’, Unstable has also been canceled after 2 seasons. Most recently, fans were devasted to learn about the beloved series Kaos being canceled, and next on the list is Unstable, but at least the latter saw the light for two seasons!
Albeit, there was still plenty to explore when it came to the stories of Ellis Dragon and his son, Jackson Dragon, especially since the second season ended with Ellis announcing that he would be running for the President of the USA.

Who Could Have Made a Comeback for Unstable Season 3?
Although Netflix has canceled Unstable Season 3, Rob Lowe (Parks and Recreation, The Outsiders) and John Owen Lowe (Holiday in the Wild, The Grinder) would have likely reprised their roles as Ellis Dragon and Jackson Dragon.
The Lowe duo would have also been joined by Sian Clifford (Fleabag, Two Weeks To Live), Aaron Branch (Code-Switched, Christmas at the Ranch), Lamorne Morris (New Girl, Night Shift), Iris Apatow (Knocked Up, This is 40), and Fred Armisen (Saturday Night Live, Los Espookys). All these stars delivered some exceptional performances in the first two seasons, but alas, that’s the end of the road.
Conclusion
Sadly Unstable Season 3 won’t be part of the Netflix roster, but despite that, we do recommend binging the first two seasons, which make for a perfect weekend watch. Meanwhile, several people have taken to social media to express their thoughts on the cancelation, and you can do the same!
