October 11, 1975, marked the historic premiere of Saturday Night Live, more popularly known as SNL, revolutionizing the landscape of comedy and television. Over four decades later, this iconic late-night live sketch comedy show celebrates a monumental milestone: its 50th season, and we have all been patiently waiting for it!

SNL Season 50 Welcomes Legends!
On September 28, SNL Season 50 is opening with Jean Smart (Designing Women, Hacks) as the host, who has been accompanied by musical guest Jelly Roll (Wild Ones, Save Me).
Next week, on October 5, beloved comedian Nate Bargatze will host SNL, along with musical guest Coldplay, the popular rock band who are ready to Fix You. October 12 will be a special one for SNL, and particularly musical as Ariana Grande (Wicked, Zoolander 2) and Stevie Nicks (Dreams, The Chain) take the stage, with Grande as the host.
Hollywood star Michael Keaton (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, The Flash) takes over as host on October 19, and he will be accompanied by Grammy Award winner Billie Eilish (Birds of a Feather, What Was I Made For?), making them the most unique duo of SNL Season 50.
So far, SNL has announced the first five shows for Season 50, and the fifth one on November 2, will be hosted by none other than American comedian and actor John Mulaney, who will be joined by the rising star who recently won her first VMA, Chappell Roan (Good Luck!, Casual).
